Who Is RetailRich?

I’ve spent over 30 years in retailing as well as sales. My career has spanned a variety of positions from creating an experimental department at the age of 21 for a mass merchandiser to trouble shooting for senior management of the same multi-billion dollar mass merchandiser. I also created and operated my own multi-store specialty business serving an upscale clientele. I also managed to spawn a couple of other opportunities, including a wholesale business and a gift tin design business that sold designs nationally and provided product for other retailers. In between I’ve worked to train and coach a retail dealer organization that helped build Apple computer through it’s early history These experiences became my hands-on retail and customer service education.

In some cases I learned what not to do. Through other experiences I gained an understanding of best practices in both mass retailing operating an independent specialty store.
